This Payment and Refund Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions governing payments made for services offered by Wedmangalam Matrimony Services (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) through its website and/or mobile application (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Platform”). By subscribing to or purchasing any services from the Platform, Users expressly agree to the terms set forth in this Policy.
1. Payment Terms
1.1 Payment Obligations:
Users availing paid services on the Platform are required to make full payment in advance. The Company shall not be obligated to activate any paid services until the payment has been received in full.
1.2 Payment Methods:
- The Company accepts payments via credit cards, debit cards, net banking, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), and other recognized payment gateways.
- The User shall bear any transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or related expenses imposed by the payment gateway or financial institution.
1.3 Payment Confirmation:
Upon successful payment, Users will receive an automated confirmation email and/or SMS on their registered contact details. Users are advised to retain proof of payment for their records.
1.4 Pricing Policy:
The Company reserves the right to revise its pricing structure for any of the services offered on the Platform at its sole discretion. Such revisions shall apply prospectively and will not affect ongoing paid subscriptions.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 No Refund Policy for Paid Services:
Payments made for services offered on the Platform are strictly non-refundable. Once a payment is made, the Company shall not entertain any requests for refunds, whether for partially availed services, unused periods of membership, or dissatisfaction with the services.
2.2 Exceptional Refunds:
Refunds, if any, shall be granted solely at the Company’s discretion and only in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Technical errors resulting in duplicate payments.
- Non-activation of paid services despite confirmed payment.
2.3 Refund Process:
- In cases where the Company determines a refund is appropriate, the amount shall be processed within 15 (fifteen) working days from the date the refund request is approved.
- Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment used during the transaction.
2.4 Non-Transferability:
Payments made for services are non-transferable and may not be assigned or transferred to any other User or third party.
3. Service Cancellation Policy
3.1 User-Initiated Cancellation:
Users may choose to discontinue their membership or cancel their paid services at any time. However, such cancellations shall not entitle the User to any refund or credit.
3.2 Company-Initiated Cancellation:
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s paid membership without notice in the event of:
- Violation of the Platform’s Terms of Use.
- Submission of false, misleading, or objectionable content.
- Any activity deemed unlawful or inappropriate by the Company.
In such instances, no refund shall be granted.
5. External Links on the Platform
The Platform may include advertisements, hyperlinks to other Platforms or resources. We have no control over any other Platform or resources or contents available on these other Platforms, which are provided by companies or persons other than Us. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of any such external sites or resources, and do not endorse any advertising, services/services or other materials on or available from such Platform or resources. You acknowledge and agree that We are not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, services or other materials on, or available from, such Platforms. These external third-party Platforms and resource providers may have their privacy policies governing the collection, storage, retention and disclosure of Your Personal Information that You may be subject to. 4. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes relating to payments, refunds, or related concerns shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sonipat, Haryana, India.
